The Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) is the apex body representing the interest of the Indian Auto Component Industry. Its membership of over 800 manufacturers contributes more than 90% of the auto component industry’s turnover in the organised sector. ACMA is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Association.

The Indian auto-component industry registered a turnover of Rs. 2,92,184 crore (USD 43.55 billion) growing by 14.3 per cent, and exports grew by 3.1 per cent to Rs.73,128 crore (USD 10.90 billion) in 2016-17, registering a CAGR of 11 percent over a period of six year. ACMA has played a pivotal role in supporting its members in export development and in discovering new market opportunities, currently the industry exports to more than 160 countries.

ACMA’s charter is to develop a globally competitive Indian Auto Component Industry and strengthen its role in national economic development as also promote business through international alliances.

Tata Tigor has been launched in India to carry forward the legacy of India’s first sub-four meter sedan, Tata Indigo, which will soon be phased-out. Carrying sticker price of Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the carline is available with petrol and diesel engines in four manual variants, missing out on the AMT unit. The Styleback as Tata calls it, is based on the company’s stellar hatchback Tiago. The two models share comprehensive design and styling elements, although, Tata has given slightly new treatment to Tigor to distinct it from its donor hatchback.

Aside from the subtle styling bits, the rear is all new, thanks to the boot. The 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels are new on the Tigor, which are restricted to the range topping petrol trim while the 14-inch alloys from Tiago are carried over to the diesel version. Improvising on space, Tata has cleverly increased the wheelbase by 50mm compared to Tiago allowing more space on the inside and has kept 419 litres of boot space for storing luggage. Lauched for CNG two Wheelers in New Delhi , India

When affordability is the main criterion in buying a scooter, the Honda Activa CNG is one of the hottest. Imagine a two-wheeler with CNG that will up the fuel efficiency quotient multi-fold! But here are few things that need to be cleared. First, Honda Activa CNG is not a factory fitment at the moment. This is an aftermarket fitment. Second, it hasn’t gone on sale yet. The Activa CNG kit testing has been completed. The new scooter has been unveiled, and there are other scooters too that have got CNG.

As CNG is more affordable, the running cost of the Activa CNG will be lower. The CNG Activa‘s price hasn’t been disclosed yet. These will be made by an Iranian CNG kit manufacturer in Pune. This will be approved by the ARAI. At the moment, it is a bit too early to state the exact price of the kit.  In the next 15 days, we shall be sharing the official Activa CNG kit pricing. This kit is sold by Lovato and it is priced at INR 15,000.

The CNG kits are approved by the government, as they have been certified by ARAI (Automotive Reseach Authority of India). The kit consists of two cylinders that can each have 1 kg of CNG in it. The total range of the CNG kit Activa is 120 kms.

The Honda Activa CNG is exactly like the regular Activa. The scooter showcased in the images is green and white, however in reality there won’t be any differences in the design. The Activa 3G will be made available in the same colours and design. The features too will remain the same. All you have to do is get an aftermarket fitment done.
