Keeping the taxpayers’ problems in mind and in order to ease out the panic situation, the Income Tax Department has finally extended the deadline for filing tax return by 5 days to August 5 (Saturday). It has also extended the last date for the linking of PAN with Aadhaar (UIDAI) to 31st August, 2017.
