CBSE Board exams for Class 10 students

Inview of coronavirus (COVID-19) and complete lockdown of the county,
Accordingly, the meeting between HRD Minister of Government of India Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal and the state education ministers on 28.04.2020(Tuesday), a major confusion has arisen regarding whether the CBSE Board Exams 2020 is cancelled or not.
Delhi Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia had suggested to the HRD Ministry at the meeting that CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 students should be promoted directly based on internal marks like the students of classes 9 and 11 as the board exams couldn’t be conducted in the Covid-19 lockdown.
After Shri Manish Sisodia had tweeted the same on Tuesday evening, it left CBSE boards students utterly confused -- Would the CBSE Board Exams 2020 be cancelled now?
CBSE Secretary Shri Anurag Tripathy confirms CBSE Class 10 exams are cancelled: What does it mean?
While speaking in an interview to a news channel, CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathy said, "As the minor subjects of Class 10 Board exams were pending, it can be cancelled."

The CBSE Board exams for Class 10 students which had been postponed due to the North Delhi violence will be carried out once lockdown is lifted and the situation stabilized.

However, the CBSE Secretary at the time didn’t give any information about the CBSE Class 12 board exams 2020.
